Celebrate National Coming Out Day with us on Sunday, October 11, 2026, as MVUUF presents Second Nature: Gender and Sexuality in the Animal World (directed and produced by Drew Denny; narrated by Elliot Page. 

“Elliot Page narrates this hilarious and heartening romp through the animal world, led by brave scientists fighting censorship as they reveal the truth about our nature. SECOND NATURE — everything you didn’t learn in high school biology.”

Awarded a Sundance Documentary Fund Grant, the Special Jury Award at Reel Wild Festival, and finishing funds from Frameline Festival and Chimaera Fund, Second Nature has been lauded as “riveting… incredibly impressive, unique and compelling," and named a must watch film by People Magazine, Yahoo! News, ABC News, The Hollywood Reporter and more.

*When: Sunday, October 11 at 1:00 PM (arrive early for seating)
*Cost: Free ($5 suggested adult donation). We will accommodate as many guests as space safely allows, including overflow seating with a TV monitor.
*Post-Screening: Stay for light snacks, refreshments, and discussion in the lower-level Fellowship Hall.
