Meredith Crandall Brown

Once upon a time, in a refrigerator not too far away, a jug of milk and a bottle of juice fell in love. All was bliss until Juice was taken away from its one true love and . . . recycled.

Thus begins Milk and Juice’s humorous journey through many incarnations around the world. Will they ever be reunited? Or will they stay star-crossed lovers for all eternity?
In this charmingly clever story, Meredith Crandall Brown shows us the importance of chasing after your dreams and never giving up. Brown also includes informative back matter that explains the steps of recycling in clear, simple terms that all readers will understand, paired with cute illustrations!

Biography:
After receiving a Middlebury College joint degree in Anthropology and Psychology, a Masters in Education from Goddard College, and an AMI Montessori degree from the Maria Montessori Institute in London, Meredith was fully prepared to work as a teacher. However, she was not prepared to keep a straight face in classrooms full of hilarious children. After ten years of holding back giggles both in the States and overseas, Meredith decided to switch to a field where she could make children laugh on purpose and combine it with her lifelong love of writing and drawing. She entered the world of picture books where she now happily works full-time. Her debut, Milk and Juice: A Recycling Romance (HarperCollins) was published in 2021and has been enjoyed by critics and booksellers alike, receiving starred reviews and making the Kids’ Indie Next List.
