Enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the library while watching a film on our big screen. It's a great way to unwind and enjoy a variety of movies in a comfortable setting. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Best of all, there's no registration required — just come in and enjoy the show!
What will we be watching?
--- March 4 - "Polite Society" (2023). This movie follows Ria, a British-Pakistani teenage martial artist who believes her older sister’s glamorous new fiancé is part of a sinister plan, prompting Ria and her friends to stage increasingly chaotic stunts to “save” her sister.
--- April 1 - "Dreamgirls" (2006). This movie is a musical drama about a talented girl group whose rapid rise to fame reveals the personal sacrifices, rivalries, and heartbreak behind success in the music industry. (This movie showing complements our Bloomington Reads title “The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat”.)
--- May 6 - "Crazy Rich Asians" (2018). This is a romantic comedy about a woman who discovers her boyfriend’s family is unbelievably wealthy, forcing her to navigate love, tradition, and class differences while visiting Singapore.
