One night only catch Bloomington's own Midwest Melodic Rock n Rollers Midnight Miles!!! Concert goers you are in for a treat. Midnight Miles bring you the best of what you are looking for for a rock band. Loud melodic guitar riffs with comparably loud drums as well as Dr. Toads on the keys! Throughout the years they have had different members come and go. Some of the best musicians in central Illinois have been in MM at one point. There's an almost Steely Dan vibe as you never know quite who will be playing the show that night. So come on out and watch Midnight Miles as they surprise you with their lineup and skills of combining rock n roll with their eclectic style of Americana meets punk. It's going to be a night to remember!
Dylan Karraker (Singer Songwriter/Americana/Acoustic)
Opening the night will be local singer and song writer Dylan Karraker. One of Bloomington's favorite powerhouse openers, Dylan has been part of the downtown music scene for a while now bringing some acoustic singer/songwriter style to the evening. He knows how to kick off a show!
Redd Fred Redemption (Grunge/Hard Rock/Alternative Rock)
Making their official show debut to Six Strings is some familiar faces to this bar venue, Redd Fred Redemption! RFR actually formed from members playing open mic on Six String's very stage. Members include frontman/guitarist Fred Snellen, Chris (Redd) Palmer on bass, Jake Rutledge (Of Bury Thy Wicked/Taylor Smith) on drums and recently added singer/guitarist Mike Tarkowski. An unofficial Bloomington-Normal super group, RFR have been practicing their craft of some of your favorite grunge and hard rock covers of the past few decades and are now bringing forward original material for everyone to hear.
Colin Billings full band (Modern Rock/Blues)
Colin Billings is an original music artist, composer producer that brings a heavy mainstream rock sound to how he plays and sings along with a modern blues vibe. Sometimes you can catch him filling in some local cover bands shredding guitar to the masses. We are excited to have him with a full band for this show. You are not going to want to miss this.
Bury Thy Wicked (Melodic Hard Rock/Punk)
Jumping on stage before Midnight Miles will be Bury Thy Wicked! Prepare your ears for a wonderful combination of rock, metal and punk. Their anthemic riffs, powerful stage presence, and tasteful breakdowns will leave you wanting to throw down like you did in your youth at Warped Tour!
