In celebration of the launch of the digital project, Orson Welles on the Air, join scholar Patrick Feaster from IU’s Media Digitization and Preservation Initiative for a guided tour through Welles’ radio innovations. A three-time Grammy nominee and co-founder of the First Sounds Initiative, Feaster is actively involved in identifying, preserving, and analyzing many of the world’s oldest recorded sounds.
There will be two presentations at 5:30 and 7:30 in the Moving Image Archive Screening Room on the ground floor of the Herman B Wells Library.
