1. Any bowler who has bowled at least one Ebonite Shootout season may enter the draft. Priority will be given to those who have bowled in the 2025-2026 season. The first 48 bowlers to sign up will be included in the draft pool that will be used to create 12 4-man teams*.
2. The 12 Captains will be selected by Joseph based on the number of Shootouts bowled and their tournament average. Draft order will be in order of team average - low to high - and re-seed each round after adding in new teammates.
3. The draft will occur at 6:15pm on February 20th, right before the event starts.
4. The entry fee will be $50.00/bowler; $11.00 lineage, $6.50 expenses (awards+admin), $2.50 toward the Invitational, and $30.00 for the tournament prize fund. Payout will be 1:4 teams.
5. Check-in will begin at 6:30pm. Practice will begin promptly at 7:00pm, with tournament play starting at 7:10pm.
6. Handicap is 80% of 220 per bowler. Bowlers will use their tournament average for all Ebonite Shootouts bowled starting 8/1/2022 (minimum 12 games). If no tournament average, bowlers will use their composite USBC average for the 2024-2025 season. Tournament Director reserves the right to rerate any bowler should he deem necessary.
7. All bowlers will bowl 4 games of qualifying, moving each game. Following qualifying, the top 3 teams will advance to baker's style stepladder.
8. Brackets, high game pots and singles pots will be available on site and paid out same day.
9. All bowlers entering this tournament are to follow USBC rules. All decisions made by the tournament manager are final. All other USBC rules will apply.
Note: If fewer than 48 bowlers are in the pool by 2/13/26, we will either decrease the number of captains or reduce the team size from 4-person to Trios, whatever allows for the most participants. Any bowler who withdraws from the draft after 2/13 will be ineligible for the Singles Invitational.
