Creativity Center at 107 E Chestnut, Bloomington, Illinois
The City of Bloomington is proud to present the First Annual Arts & Health Day on Saturday, July 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Franklin Park and the Creativity Center (107 E Chestnut St.) in Downtown Bloomington. This free, family-friendly even celebrates the intersection of the arts, health, and community wellness through hands-on activities and cost-free access to information and resources regarding individual health.
Attendees will enjoy a wide range of experiences, including:
• 9:30–9:45 a.m. – Zumba participation led by Shannon Ramirez.
• 10:00–10:30 a.m. – Mandala art demonstration by Threshold to Hope.
• 10:45–11:00 a.m. – An overview of The Baby Fold's mission, programs, and impact.
The event will feature booths and activities from over 15 local organizations, including:
BCAI, Bloomington Parks & Recreation, Carle Health, CreatiVets, The Baby Fold, ISU Psychological Services Center, Johnson Family Chiropractic, YMCA, Red Cross, NAACP, WBRP's Book Bike, Lift the Ban, Young Yogi Yoga, Creative Healing Expressive Art Center, Suline Creations, Threshold to Hope, One Hope Project, and the Veterans' Treatment Court Mentor Program.
