Did you know that AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides tax assistance to anyone, free of charge, with a special focus on taxpayers who are over 50 or have low to moderate income? 

Stop by for free coffee and chat with a Tax-Aide volunteer who will be working at the Mall of America Site in 2026.  Our volunteers are trained and IRS-certified to ensure they are knowledgeable about and understand the latest changes and additions to the tax code.

In 2025, 28,300 Tax-Aide volunteers helped to secure $1.3 billion in total refunds for over 1.7 million people. Wow! 

AARP Information Center at Mall of America hosts Free Coffee Friday on the first Friday of the month from 9:30 to 11 a.m. This casual drop-in event is a great opportunity to share a cup of coffee with AARP volunteers and neighbors while learning about things that matter to us as we age.
