This Saturday marks the third and final one-day IaPBA conference of the summer. These smaller events have been a great way to learn, connect, and stay engaged between our big three-day annual conference in March.

If you can’t make it to the March event, this one-day conference is the next best thing — a full day of education, conversation, and practical takeaways you can bring straight back to your kennel. And if you are planning to attend the annual conference, this is the perfect way to stay current and build momentum heading into next year.

Whether you’ve been breeding for decades or are just thinking about getting started, this event has something for you. The sessions cover every corner of kennel life — what you feed, how you market your dogs, how you communicate with customers, and how to recognize both the good and the not-so-good signs in your kennel so you can act fast when things change.

And while you’re here, don’t miss the door prizes — including a special giveaway from Purina: 10 bags of Pro Plan, a $700 value, to one lucky attendee.

Opening remarks and updates from one of our longtime industry partners.

10:15 AM – Calvin – Topic TBA (45 min)
A focused talk on practical kennel management and operations.

11:00 AM – Chuck Holtz – Marketing Your Puppies (1½ hrs)
Learn how to build your brand, reach the right families, and stand out in a changing marketplace.

12:30 PM – Lunch
Provided onsite — a chance to relax, talk shop, and meet vendors.

1:15 PM – Matt (Global Pet) – Industry Session (45 min)
Updates and insights on new tools and technology supporting breeders.

2:00 PM – Break

2:15 PM – Dr. Cari Van Zwedan – Understanding Necropsy (1½ hrs)
A detailed look at what breeders can learn from necropsy and how it can improve herd health and prevention.

3:45 PM – Questions, Closing, and Door Prizes
Open discussion, wrap-up, and prize drawings — including the Purina Pro Plan giveaway.
