Join us on March 29th from 11:00-1:00 for our 4th Annual KIDS Easter Egg Hunt at Duvall Farms 6555 State Route 5&20 full of prizes that will be specific to the age group your child is participating in! We will have a costume contest as well. We will have a prize for best individual costume and a prize for best group costume (parents can participate in the Costume Contests)
Our local 4-H Camp Bristol Hills will be here helping us and providing information on awesome 4-H programs! We will be making a donation to them from the proceeds of this event. Our petting zoo friends will be here to visit all of you as well!
Tickets for the event are $10 Each. ALL children attending the event must have a ticket. Tickets are limited and must be bought by March 27th (unless sold out before that) Parents you do not need a ticket and can spectate or assist smaller children during the hunt. (If a child is under a year old, in a baby carrier or stroller and not participating they do not need a ticket) Each child will be able to get ten (10) Eggs ONLY. We want to avoid parents getting the eggs as much as possible. Each kid that gets exactly 10 eggs will get a special prize. We will have three waves for the hunt in different age groups. The first age group will be 5 and younger. The second age group will be 6 to 9 years old. The third age group will be 10 and older. Kid will get different color wristbands as they arrive. Prize tickets will match wristband color. The waves will go at 3 different times so you will be able to see your child gather eggs. Schedule will be posted closer to event day. You may only participate in ONE wave. If you miss your wave time you cannot join in another. We will start with the youngest to oldest. Please bring a bag or basket for eggs.
Prizes will be awarded at the end of each wave.
We will be watching for those who exhibit kind behavior per wave (as in helping others who may fall or drop their baskets and following the directions ) and will recognize them with our "Good Egg Award"
We ask that parents do not bring any children that are not participating to this event. No dogs will be able to attend this event. We apologize and appreciate your understanding. We will run the event in snow or light rain but not in heavy rain or if there is lightening. Please no outside food/ drinks.
Anyone seen collecting more than 10 eggs, opening eggs and throwing them on the ground , or taking someone else's eggs will be asked to leave and will forfeit any prizes without a refund. NO EXCEPTIONS. This is for our community & to raise money for our local 4-H so please be kind to each other during the event.
Please bring your ticket on your phone or a hard copy to be scanned at entry.
