It is that time of the year when the nights in India are colorful as people are seen in colorful traditional clothes and dandiya sticks in their hands. Yes, we are talking about the longest dancing festival of the year – Navratri. The craze for garba and dandiya raas is not only seen in India but the trend has taken over the world and even people from different countries are seen celebrating Navratri in their own way.
Many people book packages for Navratri and flock to India to witness and participate in this cultural festival of Joy. While everyone is prepped up with their dandiyas and garba moves, we prepared a list of latest bollywood songs that will take Navratri 2016 to another level with their beats.
Here’s the latest Bollywood songs that will test your dancing feets this Navratri.
Cham Cham Cham
This song from the movie Baaghi features Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff from the movie Baaghi. The song holds a sweetness that makes you wanna hum and you won’t be able to stop your foot from tapping when the rhythmic tune hits at Jhumu Me Aaj, Cham Cham Cham.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
There is no doubt that this song is in the list. The song became very popular for the traditional occasions as also seen in the movie Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Oh Yes, the beats after Prem Ratan…. You wanna shake it like shammi. 😛
Jhumega Body ka Har Part Tang Uthake, Nachenge Saari Saari Raat Tang Uthake… The Title of the song and few lines of the lyrics sets perfectly with the Festival and the tradition of Dandiya Raas. The song is from the movie Housefull 3 and though it is a party number, it still is an ideal song for having fun during Garba Dance.
This song is perfect for the over enthusiastic ones who are out there to set fire on the grounds for Navratri. The song features Ranveer Singh from the movie Bajirao Mastani and is a song of victory and celebration. The beats in the song will give you goosebumps. Vishal Dadlani’s voice and Ganesh Acharya’s choreography has taken the song to another level.
Another Party Anthem song that has catchy lyrics and a foot tapping rhythm. This song from movie Dilwale follows a conversational pattern which makes it a hit number during dandiya raas where different teams of boys and girls have a showdown.
The original song Jabra Fan, was featured in the movie FAN starring ShahRukh Khan and was sung in Hindi. However the same song also released in other languages and even in Gujarati. The Gujarati version is sung by Arvind Vegda who is a folk singer from Gujarat. The lyrics might seem a little off track for garba but the music is energetic and lively for Garba Dance.
Gori Radha Ne Kalo Kaan
Gori Radha Ne Kalo Kaan is from the recently released regional movie Wrong Side Raju. Though it is not a Bollywood movie but was supported by the Phantom productions – well known Bollywood movie makers. The movie songs are composed by famous duo Sachin-Jigar and sung by famous artists like Vishal Dadlani and Arijit Singh. The song Gori Radha ne Kalo Kaan is for those who start slowly and are seen later in full energy.
