Six planets — Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune — will trace an arc across the night sky, though some (Venus, Jupiter, Saturn) will be much more easily visible than others (Uranus, Neptune). This is the date when the planets will appear most aligned, but the “parade” will be visible for some time before and after, as well.
