Rules:

🍕 Pizza Piece Eating Contest – Official Rules
1. 
16 years old and over. Participants compete to eat the most pizza slices within the time limit. The contestant who eats the most slices wins.
2.  All contestants receive the same type of pizza (same size, crust, toppings) of Portside's Meat Lovers pizza.
Pizza will be pre-cut into equal slices.
Only the provided pizza counts toward the contest total.
3. The contest lasts 7 minutes.
A countdown timer will be visible.
When time is called, hands off the pizza immediately.
4. What Counts as a Finished Slice
A slice counts only if:
It is completely eaten, crust and all.
No large pieces remain on the plate.
Contestants must fully swallow before starting the next slice.
Judges may inspect plates.
5. Hands & Eating Rules
Hands may be used to eat pizza.
No utensils allowed.
Contestants may not dunk pizza in drinks or pour drinks on pizza.
6. Drinks
Water only is allowed.
Drinks must stay in the contestant’s own area.
7. Conduct
Contestants may not:
Hide pizza.
Throw or drop pizza intentionally.
Assist other contestants.
Leave the contest area.
Violation may result in disqualification.
8. Safety Rule
If a contestant appears to be choking or becomes ill, judges may stop the contestant for safety reasons.
9. Determining the Winner
The winner is the contestant who eats the most full slices within the time limit.
In case of a tie, a 1-minute sudden death slice-off will determine the winner.
10. Prize
Grand prize Winner receives the Pizza Eating Contest Champion prize of a $100 Portside Gift Card
if no one finishes the entire pizza within the 7 minutes, $50 goes to the person with the least amount of whole slices
