- **Event Description**: Join us at Bletchley Park on International Women’s Day for a special day of talks exploring the vital contributions women have made to intelligence, espionage and World War Two history. 

The day will highlight women whose achievements have not always received the recognition they deserve, sometimes due to the secrecy surrounding their work.

Throughout the day, you will hear stories of women who had a profound influence on history – from the women working to ensure these stories don’t remain in the shadows. These talks will highlight ground-breaking work carried out both at Bletchley Park and far beyond, offering new perspectives on women’s roles in leadership, secrecy, and memory.

The ticket price includes a buffet lunch, access to all talks and panels and time to explore Bletchley Park.

Speakers:

Dr Kate Vigurs: Researcher and author of Mission France: The True History of the Women of SOE.  

Victoria Walsh: Author of The Story of Rena Stewart: Bletchley Park Girl, Translator of Hitler’s Will, and BBC Pioneer.

Sophy Higgins:  PhD candidate in War Studies at Freeman Air and Space Institute (King’s College London) and the Royal Air Force Museum. Her research focuses on the class-based influence of women on the development of aviation in interwar Britain
