The Little Grimley Amateur Dramatic Society has seen better days. Membership is dwindling, audiences are disappearing, money is running short, and the future of the society hangs by a thread. Yet despite every obstacle, chairman Gordon (Paul Southey) and his long-suffering committee, Margaret (Amanda Tollemache), Joyce (Aley Matthews), Bernard (Peter Morice) remain determined to keep theatre alive in their tiny village.

In Last Tango in Little Grimley, the group faces a financial crisis and comes up with a fundraising idea that is guaranteed to attract attention—whether anyone wants it to or not. What follows is a series of increasingly outrageous plans, misunderstandings, and theatrical disasters that prove desperation really is the mother of invention.

Then, in The Fat Lady Sings in Little Grimley, the society finds itself battling declining audiences, artistic ambition, and the ever-present challenge of putting on a show with limited resources and unlimited optimism. As always, Gordon and his team tackle every setback with unwavering enthusiasm and spectacularly questionable judgment.
