Join us on Thursday 17 September.

The evening starts at 7pm at the Blenheim Bowling Club rooms, 65E Weld Street, Redwood.

Members are warmly invited to bring surplus fishing gear, including sinkers, rigs, rods, reels, and other items, to sell on the night. Please price your items beforehand; you keep the sale proceeds.

The evening’s agenda includes:

	Gary Fisher will share his fishing and diving experiences, along with handy rig-tying and bait presentation expertise
	Mark will discuss the club’s upcoming Speedfish event and future surfcasting events.
	Raffle tickets are three for $5; please bring gold coins for payment.
	Refreshments will be available, including tea, coffee, and bar drinks
	Sales tables will be open all evening, so there will be plenty to browse
	There will also be a Q&A session on fishing topics relevant to our club waters
	Facebook members, new members, and prospective members are especially welcome—we’d love to see you there.

Speedfish Surfcasting Event
•	Speedfish: Sunday 20 September — mark it in your calendar

The location will be advised closer to the date
Registration opens at 6.30 a.m., and fishing starts at 7 a.m. Entry is $5 per rod, with a maximum of two rods per angler. After registering, choose your fishing spot. Fishing ends at 11 a.m., followed by prizes, a raffle, and a free barbecue—an excellent opportunity to socialise and share fishing stories.
