- **Event Description**: On Tuesday 11 November at Hakuna Matata Cafe we will have our BTM AGM followed by Business Journeys.

We will be starting out our evening at 5pm with our AGM. We will utilise this time to showcase the fantastic things we have been up to and celebrate our successes. 

At 5.30pm we will kick off Business Journeys with Peter Levett. Peter is the co-founder and COO of Gelomics who are revolutionizing drug development by enabling the growth of human tissue models in vitro. This provides an ethical, cost-effective, and predictive alternative to animal testing. After studying Chemical & Biological Engineering at the University of Queensland, Peter completed a PhD in Biomaterials and Regenerative Medicine, developing new materials to support cartilage regeneration. In 2018, he co-founded Gelomics to commercialise this technology.

Peter will talk about co-founding a technology start-up, his experiences raising capital, and balancing this with family.
