The Shackleton Trio bring the very best of classic folk and folk rock with a strong Celtic touch. Lively music to get your feet tapping, gentle ballads to sooth the spirit, something for everyone.
The trio brings together Georgia Shackleton (fiddle, vocals), Aaren Bennett (guitar) and Nic Zuppardi (mandolin, banjo). Drawing on British, American and Scandinavian folk traditions, the band balance deep respect for the past with a fresh, contemporary approach. ​
These are top musicians who have performed around the world, and have been in great demand by folk clubs and festivals all over the UK.
We are thrilled to finally bring them to Wessex Acoustic.
This evening will be at The Old Powerhouse in the village of Bryanston, on the outskirts of Blandford. There is a generous car park on site, and a bar.
