Reading Between the Wines

Texas crime, dark humor, and familiar characters… oh my!

Reading Between the Wines returns with award-winning author Ben Rehder, well known around these parts for his hilarious Blanco County murder mystery series.

"Buck Fever" was a finalist for the Edgar Award for Best First Novel, "Get Busy Dying" earned a Shamus Award nomination, and his standalone novel "The Chicken Hanger" won the Texas Philosophical Society’s Award of Merit, proving this master of country-murder-comedy can also deliver real grit and depth.

La Vie Estate Winery will provide the wine for the event, because nothing pairs with murder, mayhem, and poor life choices like a well-poured glass of fine wine.

We're excited to sip these Texas reds and toast to the latest book Ben Rehder is cooking up!
