This is one sweet day you will NOT want to miss! The Blanco County Bake-Off is open to all home bakers in the community (non-professionals only). No mixes are allowed, so this competition is sure to bring out the best scratch biscuits, scones, pies, cakes, cupcakes, and creative pecan-inspired recipes in our slice of the Hill Country.
How it works:
• Participants bake their favorite recipes in their home kitchens all across Blanco County and the surrounding area.
• Bakers bring their creations to the Blanco Library the morning of the event on Saturday, March 7th at 9:00 AM. All entries must be submitted by 9:30 AM
• Judging takes place at 10:00 AM, with awards, auctions, and sales shortly after
Not a baker, but want to attend? AND take something home? We thought so...
• Show up and support local bakers by casting your vote for PEOPLE’S CHOICE
• Raffle Tickets: Purchase a raffle ticket(s) to enter the drawing to take home one of the six FIRST PLACE WINNERS!
• Live Auction: Bid to win the "Best in Show" and "People's Choice Award" entries!
To top it all off, these scratch-made recipes will also be available to purchase by-the-slice.
