# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Let's Talk: A Mental Health Book Club
- **Event Start and End Date**: Mon, 27 Jul, 2026 at 05:30 pm
- **Event Description**: Join us for a community-wide book club focused on mental health, fostering connections, and prioritizing personal growth! We’ll read the memoir, “Reasons to Stay Alive” by Matt Haig, a New York Times bestselling author. In it, Matt shares how he came through crisis, triumphed over mental illness and learned to live again. It’s moving, funny and joyous while tackling the very serious and sometimes less-talked-about realities of suicide.

Check with the library to secure a hard copy or look for it on Libby! It’s also available from major retailers for up to $10. We’ll gather four times to think through themes, see what we learn as individuals and a group, and encourage more open dialogue about mental health. We will discuss the first 65 pages on Monday, July 27 at 5:30 p.m. at Blanchardville Public Library!

A reminder that this opportunity is intended for education, reflection and connection and is not a substitute for mental health services or crisis support.

Sponsored by The P.A.M. Alliance, Naturally Empowered Living, and Blanchardville Public Library.
