- **Event Description**: Here it is folks!!! Our summer edition of painting with watercolors… but this time it’s with a twist… a 2 day class with some mixed media additions. This is a SUPER beginner friendly watercolor class and would be a great class to bring older kiddos to as well! 

For this watercolors class you will be given a choice of creating 2 images out of the 4 shown here. Color choices are up to you as well. Because it’s a mixed media class with watercolor painting AND drawing it will be a 2 day “workshop.” 

Day 1 (Friday August 28th @ 6 pm): we will be tracing out the 2 images chosen then painting a wet on wet method for the watercolor backgrounds. We will then lay seran wrap over them all and let them dry overnight.

Day 2 (Sat August 29th at 11am-1pm): We will return to, then, create the black and white drawing portion of the peices. Our paintings will be fully dried and ready for the controlled portion of the workshop. We will go over line work, hatching and pointillism to create the look of the images seen in the examples.

The size of each painting is standard 11x14 for easy framing purposes and the cost for this watercolors workshop will be 45$ a person. When you sign up you’ll want to reserve both days for the entire workshop.
