Calling all plant lovers! Come celebrate spring and Blairsville’s 200th birthday by sharing the plants you love most. Bring your extra garden plants, houseplants, or seeds—and take home something new from your neighbors!

? Location: Blairsville Community Garden
(Corner of N. Liberty St. & W. North Alley - Between Hebron Lutheran Church and Gary Boone Garage)
? Date: Saturday, April 19, 2025
⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (or until all plants are swapped!)

? What to Bring:
Some ideas include: Lilies, Hostas, Daylilies, Bleeding Hearts, Coral Bells, Coneflowers, Ornamental grasses, Spider Plants, Succulents, Snake Plants, Philodendron, or whatever you'd like to share.

? PLUS! Support the Murphy Lot Visioning Project, opening this spring, by donating plants for the new community park! Native and pollinator-friendly plants are especially welcome.

? Plants Requested for the Murphy Lot include:
Bee-balm, black-eyed Susan, blazing-star, wild bergamot, butterfly-W**d, great blue lobelia, wild blue phlox, oxeye sunflower, New England aster (and other asters), wild hyacinth, green and gold, tall larkspur, shooting star, swamp sunflower, goldenseal, dwarf crested iris, Virginia sweetspire, wild blue lupine, Barbara’s buttons, spotted bee balm, wild quinine, quill flameflower, moss phlox, Jacob’s ladder, grey-headed coneflowers, purple coneflower, flame azalea, wild petunia, eastern blue-eyed grass, birchleaf spirea, Ohio spiderwort, tall coreopsis, mountain mint, lavender, lamb’s ears, herbs, aromatic plants, red twig dogwood, woolly thyme, sedum, daylilies, ferns, climbing prairie rose, big bluestem grass, little bluestem grass, ninebark, switchgrass, blue gramma grass, and prairie dropseed.
