Sherman's Valley Heritage Days

Come enjoy our 40th anniversary antique tractor and car show October 9, 10, and 11, 2026. Featuring Frick steam engines and farm equipment. Threshing, baling straw, cornshelling, ensilage cutting, and circular sawmill demonstrations all weekend. Antique tractor, gas engine, steam engine, and lawn tractor displays. Large flea market and craft vendor area. Car and tractor parades Friday at 4:30 PM, and Saturday and Sunday at 1 PM. Lots of good country food. Amish quilt auction Saturday at 2 PM. Children's tent and pedal cart track. Historical demonstrators such as blacksmiths and broommaking. Civil War and frontiersman camps. Horseshoe pitching contest starting Saturday morning at 9 AM. Turkey-calling contest Saturday afternoon. Handicapped parking available. Musical entertainment Friday and Saturday evenings. Sunday morning church service at 9 AM. Raffle drawings for a SVHD special edition Henry .22 carbine, a Farmall 'C' tractor with snowblade, and children's pedal tractor drawing held Sunday at 3:30 PM. Admission cost is $2 per adult, children under 12 admitted free. Proceeds benefit local community organizations (Lions Club, Ambulance company, Fire company, Library, Senior Center, Boy Scouts, Ladies' Auxiliary, and West Perry Youth sports teams).
