You need to turn off the B4246 just by Keepers Pond and continue past the fox hunters carpark until you come to our meeting point.We will then all walk together.I will give a safety talk before we enter the wate I will cover such things as cold water shock, breathing techniques and after effects. This session will not include any distance swimming, it is more about the experience of the cold water, rather than how far we can swim.You can either wear a wetsuit or just regular swimming costume/trunks. It is essential to wear something on your feet like water shoes. Swim gloves can make a swim much more enjoyable as your fingers will be the coldest part of you in the water.There are no changing facilities, so be prepared to change in front of others. Consider a towelling robe/changing robe or sarong for ease of dressing.It is essential to have layers of easy to put on, warm clothes, including warm socks, gloves and a hat.
