Pack your quill, your glitter gel pens and your sapphic spark for an afternoon in the sun of writing, laughter and connecting with your inner writer. Write a love letter to yourself (or someone special ?), a letter to your younger or older self, a sapphic poem to yearn over, a fav sapphic memory or even sapphic lyrics that slap—the possibilities are endless ?We'll have pretty paper ready for you to write whatever your heart desires, but if you've got cute paper and stationary that deserves to be filled with beautiful artistry, bring it along ? Towards the end of the picnic, you're welcome (but no pressure!) to share any masterpieces you've written with the group—think wholesome open-mic vibes, giggles, maybe some tears but definitely some sapphic appluase.There will also be some extra cheeky surprises on the day, because how can you not have some sapphic mystery floating around?? Date: Saturday 21 March⏰ Time: 12-4PM? Location: Blacktown Showground, Richmond Road, Blacktown 2148What to bring:✍️ Stationary items? Art & craft materials? Nibbles & drinks? Picnic blanket? Hat & sunscreen? Driving: Free all day parking available in both carparks off Richmond Road.? Public Transport: Blacktown train station is only a short 10 minute walk away.? Photos & videos will be taken for our socials, just kindly let us & our photographers know if you don’t want to be in any footage.This is a safe, inclusive space for the sapphic community to come together & connect. We do not tolerate any discrimination, bullying or harassment under any circumstances.
