For our final Death Café of the year, we thought we’d carry on our tradition.
The holiday season often brings the deepest feelings of loss — no matter how long it has been since a loved one passed.

To honour their memory, we invite you to dress up and bring a photo (or two) that captures their essence or holds a special memory. We’ll provide ornaments to decorate our Memorial Christmas Tree with their name, and light a candle as we reflect with you on their life — and yours. ?️

This isn’t a workshop — it’s a group-directed discussion on death, dying, grief, the afterlife, and love, with no set agenda, objectives, or themes.
Unlike a counselling or grief support session, our Death Café simply provides a safe and sacred space for open, judgment-free conversations about shared experiences, reflections, and emotions.

YFD will match all donations raised at this event to support our Charity of Choice: The Ross Hutchinson Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation assisting anyone in need — from the homeless and victims of domestic violence to the emotionally troubled and mobility-challenged.
The Foundation’s mission is simple yet powerful: to make every single minute count — improving the life, happiness, comfort, and peace of those who need it most.

Together, we can pay it forward and make a lasting impact in memory of those we hold dear. ❤️
