- **Event Description**: This Saturday June 20, 2025, VGSR will be attending the annual Summer Solstice Event in Blacksburg, VA Home of the Hokies!!.  We will be in our same spot -Booth L11 & L12,  on the corner of  South Main St and Lee Street, from 11am-6pm.


We would love it if you can stop by for a visit to learn about VGSR and our mission. Our volunteers will be happy to answer any questions you may have and to talk about the breed, the Rescue, and what it means to volunteer and/or foster. We would love to share with you the many ways you can help support our great dogs.  Not to mention, our dogs always love ear scratches and belly rubs!  Check back later in the week to see which dogs will be attending!
