Sewing 101

Sewing 101 is a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the basics of using a sewing machine, reading simple patterns, and safely finishing seams. 🧵

At Hacksburg, we believe tools and skills should be accessible to everyone. No experience is required—just bring your curiosity. By registering below, you’ll reserve your spot, help us plan materials, and join our community of makers and learners. 🧶

The class is free for Hacksburg members and $5 for non-members; there is an optional $5 materials fee. This class is for attendees age 16 and up. If you are bringing an attendee under 18, you (the parent/guardian) must stay for the entire duration of the class and approve all shop tool use.
