Thursday, December 11 – Act I (10:00am & 12:30pm)
Act I begins at the festive Christmas Eve party in the home of the Stahlbaum family, where Clara receives a magical Nutcracker doll from her mysterious godfather, Drosselmeyer. As the night unfolds, Clara dreams of a fierce battle between the Nutcracker and the Mouse King, complete with toy soldiers, mice, and snowflakes. This act ends with Clara’s magical journey beginning in the glittering Land of Snow.
Friday, December 12 – Act II (10:00am & 12:30pm)
Act II transports the audience into the Land of the Sweets, where Clara and the Nutcracker Prince are welcomed by the Sugar Plum Fairy. Students will experience a dazzling display of dances from around the world—Spanish Chocolate, Arabian Peacock, Chinese Tea, Russian Trepak, and more—before the performance concludes with the iconic “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” and the majestic Waltz of the Flowers.
