When we are considering how to improve the resilience of our communities we must look beyond fixing individual circumstances, and towards systems change to more fairly distribute resources, opportunities, rights, power, freedom from discrimination and so on.Led at all times by our ‘co-production for change’ principles, Boingboing Foundation facilitates co-research and campaigning for socially just systems change – including education, housing, accessibility, and the environment. We do this by scaffolding, upskilling and advocating for marginalised people (primarily young people), who often face many barriers to genuine participation in research and activism spaces, but whom are best placed to inform this work and for whom change is most vital."
