We already sell her exquisite paper flower kits in the Aunty Social shop, so we’re over the moon that she’s bringing her talents to share with us in person. In this relaxed creative workshop, you'll make a beautiful Poppy from high-quality Italian crepe paper - choosing your own colour from a selection of shades on the day.Working with Ling, you'll hand-cut and shape every petal, build a realistic centre, and put the whole flower together from scratch.It's an absorbing, satisfying process - no artistic experience or creative confidence required, just a willingness to slow down and make something you'll want to keep. With a background in luxury print and a lifelong obsession with botany, she uses her work to preserve the beauty of disappearing British wildflowers. Her slow, deliberate practice is rooted in deep observation - a philosophy that extends to her popular craft kits, workshops, and retreats. Whether dyeing paper with plant matter or shaping individual petals, her central mission is to inspire people to slow down, look closer, and reconnect with the fragile nature right outside their windows.Ling's work has been commissioned by ITV, National Museums Liverpool, and creative director Ali Mapletoft - including a collaboration with celebrity stylist Leesa Whisker. It has been exhibited at the Design Museum in London, the World Museum Liverpool and the Lady Lever Art Gallery.
