Associate School’s Shakespeare Festival returns for it’s fourth year, where six schools across Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre will perform Romeo and Juliet.
Two households, both alike in dignity.
Bad blood divides two dynasties. A generation fuelled with hereditary hate. Tainted youths toying with the feuds of their fathers. Is it any wonder there is fighting in the streets?
In this world of tension and poison, two star-crossed lovers defy the odds and bury their parents’ strife.
Young people from schools across Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre come together to bring to life Shakespeare’s iconic tale of love and loss.
Romeo And Juliet is a fantastic celebration of the achievements of young people involved in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Associate Schools Programme, a long-term programme where schools work with artists and practitioners from The RSC and The Grand Theatre.
