Riso Club - Zine Making Workshop

In this workshop you’ll create a small zine on whatever topic you like to then be riso printed.

Whether you’ve used Riso before or a complete newbie this workshop is designed to introduce you to the wonderful DIY self publishing possibilities you can achieve using risography. You’ll leave with a two colour mini-zine you can then share with the world!

Materials will be provided but feel free to bring along any collage or drawing materials you wish to use! (dry materials only, no inks or paints etc.)

This workshop will be run by Jack Taylor (@jackkaprestudio) who is a freelance graphic designer and artist based in Lancaster and works for the Community Riso Press in Morecambe.

This session is funded by Know Your Neighbourhood programme.

These sessions are in our downstairs workshop space. There is one small step through the front door, but we can arrange ramp access from the rear of the building if level access is required.

• Tram to North Pier
• Bus:
• No 6 or 18 bus to Topping St.
• No 3, 3a, 5c, 6, 18 to Church St (Stanley Buildings)
• No 5, 5a, 5b, 6, 7a, 14 to Talbot Rd
• Driving: The closest pay and display car parks are on East Topping St and Talbot Road multi storey. There is also parking at the nearby Sainsbury’s supermarket, please make sure that you check the terms before you use the car park.

• Orders can be refunded up to 7 days before the event.
• Refunds will be subject to the Eventbrite booking fee of 6.95% + £0.59 per ticket.
