- **Event Description**: Our event has two locations, a march between them, and closes with a rally at the main location, as explained below.

A) At Noon on Saturday 2nd May. some of us will gather at the Workers' Memorial Bench in Stanley Park, Blackpool for a minute's silence and speeches. This special bench is near the lake in Stanley Park and has a special plaque on. It is a memorial to workers who have been injured or died because of their work, and we are marking International Workers' Memorial Day (IWMD).

B) Also at Noon, others and especially those who cannot easily walk any distance, will be at our BFWTUC stall in St. John's Square, Blackpool. Here leaflets will be given out including about the Centenary of the General Strike, the IWMD, and Workers' May Day. Booklets on the 1926 General Strike in Blackpool, in Lancashire, and also a more international look at the use of general strikes, will be available. We request a £2 donation for them.

C) The party from Stanley Park will then march from there to join the party at the stall in St John's Square for 1pm or soon after.

D) At 1-15pm, there will be a rally with speeches in St. John's Square. The speeches will be about Centenary of the General Strike, the IWMD, and May Day. The rally will close at 2pm.
