We’ll guide you through every step of the journey:The Photo Walk: We’ll begin with a gentle stroll to find inspiration. You don’t need any equipment, we supply the camera and a short roll of film.The Darkroom Experience: We’ll head back to the Darkroom to demystify the development process. You’ll learn how to safely load film onto reels and together we will use the chemistry to bring your images to life.Intimate Learning: With a small group size of just three, you’ll receive plenty of one-to-one guidance and support throughout the session.Take Home Your Work: At the end of the session, you’ll leave with your negatives.Who Is This For?This workshop is perfect for absolute beginners or anyone looking for a taster of the analogue world. We focus on the joy of creating rather than technical jargon, making it a friendly space to experiment and learnWhat’s Included: Camera loan, film, chemistry, and expert tuition.This session is in our upstairs darkroom space. The building is currently having a lift installed, but it is yet to be completed.There is currently no level access. It’s a single flight of 14 steps then you go around the corner and there are two small steps. Once you’re upstairs there’s a loo. You shouldn’t need to come downstairs for anything until the end of the event.GETTING HERETram & Train to Blackpool North StationBus: No 6 or 18 to Topping St., No 3, 3a, 5c, 6, 18 to Church St (Stanley Buildings), No 5, 5a, 5b, 6, 7a, 14 to Talbot RdDriving: The closest pay and display car parks are on East Topping St and Talbot Road multi storey.
