We’ll listen for birdsong, look for signs of animal activity, and enjoy the atmosphere of the Mere at the best part of the day — before most sensible people have found the kettle.The walk will run approximately 05:30 to 07:30, although timings may be subject to change depending on weather and site conditions.No specialist equipment is needed, but binoculars are always useful if you have them. Please wear suitable footwear and dress for the weather.This event forms part of the Marton Mere BioBlitz, taking place over 13th and 14th June, helping us record as much wildlife as possible across the reserve.
