This session includes lots of hands-on pickling fun, and the opportunity to take home a jar of your own pickles.Culture Club aims to create a collaborative community, for sharing knowledge and experiences around food processing and production. This can be anything from curing and fermenting to foraging and preservation, there will be something for everyone.This session will look at the method for pickling cucumbers, both a speedy version, and for long term preservation. Felix will be bringing some samples along to try, and you will be making your own jar of pickles to take home too. Should the cucumber harvest fail, we'll have an alternative common allotment vegetable to work with.
