After the usual inquiries/messages about this popular ride the date has been finally been decided for the Saturday 28th June for this years ride... The meeting place will be as usual at the mirror ball directly opposite the highest point of the pepsi max big one roller coaster, you wont miss us all!! The meeting time will be 12.30pm. As usual this rideout is for all ages and ALL old skool/vintage bikes, we usually have a very nice mix, with grifters, choppers, bombers, burners, mongoose's, cruisers, old/vintage racers/town bikes, shoppers, boxers, tomahawks, budgies... ATB/MTB's etc, etc!! Bring yourselves, your kids, your other halves! I always get great feedback from this particular ride and it's nice to see so many returning faces year after year! We have even got people into the hobby after modern bike riders have joined us for the day.... Everyone is welcome along, be nice to see some more new faces in 2025 in this our 16th year since the event first started....
Parking is via either nearby car parks on the sea front (pay and display) or further back, parallel to the mirror ball there are plenty of back streets/roads with free parking... After a natter and some photos we will all set off around 1.15 - 1.30pm or thereabouts... (which also allows for any latecomers) and head off along the promenade towards the tower, we have plenty of stops for pics, ice cream etc so the kids and slower riders can keep up! It's not a race and it's very casual so you can go at your own pace! We continue along the sea front and leave blackpool and head past bispham taking in some nice views.. there is a high route and a low route whichever is your preference! It's all paths and no roads, so nice and safe! We just have to look out for the occasional tram!! We leave bispham and continue along towards the lovely little seaside town of cleveleys, once there, we have a rest, a chat, take more pics and then turn back and head back to blackpool, food stop and then back to the mirror ball, usually ending around 5 - 5.30pm... (please note that because we are a family event itโs not a pub run and like previous years we may well not make it to Cleveleys but only to the bispham area and the cafe as we have little ones with us. Thank you) All in all it's a great day out! As previous attendees of the ride will vouch.. Hope to see you there!!
