# Blackfalds Municipal Election Candidate Meet n' Greet Sept. 26 @6PM - The Hitchin Post - Blackfalds
Howdy folks! our town election is coming up and I figured we should get us candidates out and in one place so the public can see us, meet us, and get to know us.
Therefore, I've organized a meet n greet with a bunch of Candidates for a meet n greet at the Hitchin Post here in Blackfalds!
It's a super informal "event" where a lot of the candidates will be in attendance, and gives the candidates and the public a chance to figuratively and literally "break bread" together.
Politics doesn't have to be what it is. ESPECIALLY municipal politics, I as well as many other candidates are just working people who care and want to serve our community, and this is a chance for candidates to meet each other, and for the community to come meet us.
Either stay for a drink, grab something to eat, or just swing by to say hi, we'll be there, and would like to meet y'all.
