Maker’s Day – Get Ready for the Higher Wheelton Christmas Display!

The Higher Wheelton Christmas Display is our big community project this year — made entirely by local makers, crafters, and volunteers! 🧶 This day is all about pulling everything together before it goes up later in November.

Come along for a cosy, crafty day at The Golden Lion — everyone’s welcome, whether you’ve made something already or just fancy joining in. There’ll be plenty to do: sewing ends, sorting decorations, and of course… making more stripes for the yarny bench and paper chains!

If you’d like lunch, please message Dymphna to book and pay so we can let the pub know numbers.

🧵 Bring your enthusiasm (and maybe a needle or hook!) — it’s going to be a lovely, sociable day full of laughter, tea, and a bit of organised chaos!

£7 per head if you’d like lunch (includes tea & coffee).
