Jackson County Behavioral Health and Jackson County Public Health invite you to attend the 4th Annual Jackson County Wellness Extravaganza, to be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 4:30–7:30 p.m. at the Milt Lunda Memorial Arena.
The Wellness Extravaganza is a free, community-wide event held during Mental Health Awareness Month and is designed to help participants gain knowledge, learn practical skills, connect with others, and have fun—while supporting overall well-being across the eight dimensions of wellness: physical, emotional, financial, occupational, environmental, intellectual, social, and spiritual.
This family-friendly event welcomes all ages and encourages attendees to explore at their own pace. Participants can engage in hands-on activities, learn from local organizations, discover helpful resources, and leave with ideas and tools they can use in everyday life.
In 2025, the Wellness Extravaganza featured 26 interactive stations offering activities and information on topics such as caregiver and youth connection, substance use education, journaling, end-of-life planning, homemade cleaning supplies, dental health, nature-based wellness, nutrition, blood pressure screening, fire safety, first aid kit assembly, physical activity, stretching, and more.
Additional highlights included smokehouse demonstrations by the Black River Falls Fire Department, a free meal, inflatables, face painting, hair tinsel, a DJ, and participation prizes. The event attracted over 500 attendees, supported by 100+ volunteers, and continues to grow each year.
