The framers quickly realize the issues addressed inside Independence Hall in 1787 are equally as controversial today.Reconstitution debates four key constitutional topics in an open forum classroom setting: Freedom of Speech, Right to Bear Arms, Freedom of Religion and the Three-Fifths Voting clause based on how slaves would be counted. The questions about the current applicability of these provisions of the Constitution are posed without bias to give the audience debate-for-thought to come to their own conclusions. Comic relief keeps the tone of the play from being divisive or polarizing which makes it ideal for people of all ages and demographics.This production at BMCA will be its world premiere!--Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students (ages 11-17).
