About this Event

Join us for the upcoming, free Recovery Ambassador Training at the Gilpin County Public Library on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, from 12:30 to 3:00 pm This interactive training, led by Tonya Wheeler, Executive Director of Advocates for Recovery Colorado, will explore what recovery truly means, the impact of stigma and substance use, and the importance of language in sharing hope across our communities. Whether you’re a responder, case worker, therapist, policy maker, community leader, or a member of the public, you’re invited to learn how to become a stronger advocate for recovery. Lunch will be provided.
