Bio
I Flynotes sono una band heavy rock strumentale di San Pietroburgo, Russia, formatasi nel 2010.
Nel 2011 hanno pubblicato il loro primo album in studio, Our Zoo, seguito nel 2013 da un secondo album autoprodotto, intitolato Shiva Telescopes. Dopo un periodo di silenzio, la band è tornata nel 2016 con un EP digitale, The Smell Of Space, con una formazione rinnovata, hanno pubblicato Child In The Woods nel 2018. Il terzo album, "The Goddess Of Sunrise", è uscito nel 2020. Nel luglio 2021 hanno pubblicato il singolo Entertaining Geometry seguito da Cast in Stone uscito nel 2025.
I Flynotes hanno tenuto numerosi concerti, tra cui tour in Europa e Giappone e Israele.
Ciò che il trio propone è un mix strumentale di stili e sottogeneri diversi ma strettamente correlati, come Doom Metal, Stoner, Psichedelico, Post Rock e Progressive. 
Il materiale è incentrato sulla chitarra, eseguito da riff di chitarra elettrica estremamente pesanti e assoli monumentali.
Le melodie sono supportate da una sezione ritmica davvero fantastica, che include chitarre ritmiche incalzanti e martellanti, linee di basso quasi ipnotiche e pattern di batteria monumentali.
