Spirit of the Woods January 2026 Hike

The January 2026 hike will be on Saturday, January 3 at 10 am. The hike will start at the Nichols Lake North Trailhead (Cleveland Av) which is southwest of the town of Bitely on Cleveland Av.. This hike is in the West Michigan chapter’s miles in the Manistee National Forest. The hike will go north on an out and back hike. There is a small parking lot at the trailhead. It is not plowed but there is no fee. Please carpool to reduce the number of cars. You can also park on Cleveland Av. if the snow is too deep in the parking lot.
