Join us for an inspiring evening as renowned Dakota historian and language educator, Akisa Red Soldier shares a powerful presentation exploring Dakota history, culture, language, and nationhood.

Akisa Red Soldier, a member of the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate (Enemy Swim District), teaches Dakota history and language at Sisseton Wahpeton College. His work combines Dakota language expertise with historical documents and primary sources to challenge misconceptions and provide a more accurate understanding of Dakota history, culture, and identity.
