Silence lush with listening.Yes, it's cold, so cold and so?Haven't you come dressed just for this? And so you pull the soft wool closer, push the fleeced collar higher, part the snow-laden branches and step in, knowing full well you will be baptized. Allow yourself to be called deeper and deeper into this dense huddleof gentle bark and quiet drape. Did you ever think you could be so lost and so found In the same visible breath?~Ellen RowlandWe’ll read to each other over coffee and croissants in the bright and airy space of the Poetry Ph*rm*cy Lab, and if you want to come and ‘just’ listen, that’s perfect, too.Bring your favourite published poems to share on the theme, 'What Branches Hold' - whatever is sparked for you by this poem.About Poetry BreakfastPoetry Breakfast began in Much Wenlock in 2011, where it still runs every month, as well as there being an online version. Since then, it has given hours of poetry pleasure to people who love poetry - and to people who came along for the coffee and croissants and fell in love with poetry along the way!Anna’s Poetry Breakfasts are seasonal observations through poetry. The theme works as a prompt rather than a ‘rule’, and participants browse their favourite poetry books and bring along a poem or two to read aloud. All the poems we listen to are already published, and as a rule of thumb, are not overly long! What we need as much as people willing to read, are people willing to listen! So… if sitting with your coffee and being read to appeals to you, come along!About AnnaAnna Dreda was at the helm of Wenlock Books for thirty years. Founder of the Wenlock Poetry Festival, in her retirement she continues with her lifelong passion for books and poetry, especially in bringing poetry to people who don’t know they love it yet. Anna and her granddaughter host the Children’s Poetry Club at the Poetry Ph*rm*cy. - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/bishops-castle/winter-poetry-breakfast-with-anna-dreda/100002002796069959 - **Event Categories**: fitness, Art, literary-art, Festivals - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Age Limit: 16+ - Doors Open At: 9:30 AM - Duration: 1 hour - Location: The Poetry Pharmacy Lab - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 10, max: 10, currency: GBP ## Event venue details - **city**: Bishop's Castle - **state**: EN - **country**: United Kingdom - **location**: The Poetry Pharmacy Lab - **lat**: 52.49474739999999 - **long**: -2.9976187 - **full address**: The Poetry Pharmacy Lab, 10 Market Square, Bishop's Castle, United Kingdom ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Winter Poetry Breakfast with Anna Dreda - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events7/banners/10f91fae822c958d4c4f2f2d65d4cacda9fe65d55d7b6cc1f010d7890df4ddf3-rimg-w1200-h600-dc388878-gmir.jpg?v=1790940714 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Winter Poetry Breakfast with Anna Dreda being held? - **A:** Winter Poetry Breakfast with Anna Dreda takes place on Sat, 05 Dec, 2026 at 10:00 am to Sat, 05 Dec, 2026 at 11:00 am at The Poetry Pharmacy Lab, 10 Market Square, Bishop's Castle, United Kingdom. - **Q**: Who is organizing Winter Poetry Breakfast with Anna Dreda? - **A:** Winter Poetry Breakfast with Anna Dreda is organized by Poetry Pharmacy- Deborah Alma. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
