- **Event Description**: On Saturday 9th May 2026, Mayfield Beef Shorthorns will be hosting the first ever ‘Mayfield Marvels’ on-farm sale of pedigree Beef Shorthorn bulls, females and embryos!

The Mayfield Beef Shorthorn herd was established in 2017 with the purchase of five foundation females from several well-established herds across the country.

Over the past eight years, the addition of Australian and Canadian bloodlines have helped to produce genetics which thrive easily on grass-based and low-input forage systems. This has been the main focus of the breeding programme at Mayfield.

This sale will offer a unique opportunity for pedigree and commercial breeders to acquire some of the highest performing bulls, females and genetics within the Beef Shorthorn breed in the United Kingdom.

The sale will offer the following lots:

•	20 Bulls
•	9 In-Calf Females
•	5 Maiden Heifers
•	Various Embryos

This sale will take place on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at Leazes Farm, Leazes Lane, Wolsingham, County Durham, DL13 3DS.

Viewing from 9.30am
Sale commencing at 2.00pm
