Adult only Arts and craft group in bishop Auckland 

Join us at Bishop Auckland Town Hall (Adult Group) for a creative adventure in portrait drawing and painting! ?

?️ 29th January, 12:30-3:30 pm
? Bishop Auckland Town Hall, Room first floor on your right in our usual room 

Explore the basics of portrait drawing and painting using watercolours and acrylics. Work from a self-portrait or a portrait of someone special, learning about proportion, eye space, nose, and mouth placement. We'll cover various techniques like wet-on-wet washes, layering, and shading, with guidance and support throughout. After Pratice of skills of Portraits, we will do main piece on A3 or A4 canvas (what ever you wish to use) and have wooden boards for if you want to sketch your portrait instead, and A4 and A3 watercolour paper available to make collage portraits instead for a abstract portrait 

? If you've got a specific person in mind, email us a photo beforehand (BishopBusyHands@gmail.com) and we'll print it off for you to use as reference ?

Create your own unique piece to be showcased in The Auckland Projects Portrait Exhibit in March! ?
